GSG Hospitality is opening its second Bold Street Coffee site in Liverpool this February.
As part of a wider transformation of The Plaza office building in conjunction with Bruntwood Works, the award-winning hospitality group will open its first concept in the building, with a full restaurant and bar to follow in spring 2022.
Since opening in 2010, BSC has become an institution in Liverpool for its award-winning speciality coffee that’s roasted in house, as well as supporting independent roasters who the coffee shop has on rotation.
Heading to the business district of the city, guests will be able to enjoy all of BSC coffees including carefully blended Flat Whites, Mocha, Espresso, Cortado, Cappuccino, Latte, Americano, Short & Long Black coffee, Piccolo and Batch Brew as well as a selection of teas and iced drinks.
BSC will be open 7.30am-6pm Monday – Friday initially, with weekends opening up in the coming months.
There will also be a full breakfast and brunch menu with all of BSC staples such as Buoys; a lightly toasted brioche bun filled with the likes of scrambled egg, bacon, sausage patty or there’s vegan and veggie options available too.
Tasty Egg Boxes are on the menu including a No Carb Box, BSC Fry’s including classic and veggie, a wide selection of Butties, and On Toast options including eggs, mushrooms, avocado or salmon and eggs.
There’s also sweet options; Bowls include yogurt with granola, berry compote and honey, porridge and super porridge.
Offering the highest quality coffee to the other side of the city centre, BSC will also have its home brewing and equipment available and retail coffee bags including BSC House Espresso and its Guest Roast can be purchased.
GSG Hospitality is also behind the incredibly popular Duke Street Food and Drink Market, 81 Ltd, Salt Dog Slims and Slim’s on Bold Street.
Matt Farrell, Director of Bold Street Coffee, said: “Bold Street Coffee is a much-loved venue with a strong community focus and we can’t wait to welcome regulars and new guests to our second site in the city centre. Opening in the business district is really exciting for us; guests can come to BSC to work alongside enjoying their favourite coffee, or stop by for a grab and go sandwich on the way to their next meeting.
“Our focus is on the quality of House coffee and produce for our breakfast and brunch dishes. Being an independent ourselves, we love to champion other independent guest roasters which are changed every quarter and give our wall space to local artists and exhibitionists. We’ll continue to do this at our second BSC site and look forward to welcoming everyone on 3rd February and beyond.”
